Hi, I’m Kim. I’m so glad you’re here!
I am a mom to two incredible boys, a couple of spoiled dogs, some moody cats, a sweet bunny, and a yard full of chickens. At heart, I’m just a girl who loves the quiet, simple country life.
By trade, I’m a hairstylist. Spending my days behind the chair listening to women share their stories has taught me one thing: we all crave connection, but we often struggle to find it.
That’s why I started Let’s Chat About Jesus. I wanted to create a space for real-life conversations with women who may never step foot inside my salon—to share how Jesus changed my life and hopefully encourage you to seek Him, too!
I just can’t keep all the Good News to myself y’all!
I firmly believe that God wants us to be the church everyday, not just go to a building once a week. I also firmly believe I was born to talk, I could never run out of words—or so I’ve been told! This blog marries those two major aspects of my life perfectly. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will take and use my words to speak directly to your heart. We will laugh, we might cry, and we will always keep it real.
Life moves fast and our spiritual seasons are constantly shifting, but I believe that God’s Word remains the same. My desire is to find practical ways of applying the Unchanging Word to our Ever-changing Lives.
Whether I’m sharing a revelation from my Bible study, a recipe from a favorite vintage cookbook, or lessons learned in my garden, my hope is that every post points you back to the One who never changes.
